About the Role

This role focuses on raising public awareness of animal welfare by engaging directly with people in public spaces and representing aktion tier eV’s campaigns, projects, and mission.

You will serve as a public-facing member of the awareness team, informing passersby about animal and nature conservation issues and inspiring support for animal welfare through personal conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inform passersby about animal welfare through direct personal conversations
• Present current information campaigns
• Explain the work and projects of aktion tier eV
• Represent aktion tier eV in public
• Inspire people around animal and nature conservation issues
• Participate in major campaign launches
• Contribute to local animal welfare projects
• Take part in the broader animal welfare activities of aktion tier eV

Work Environment

• Field-based role in public-facing awareness teams
• Teams operate in multiple regions across Germany, including Berlin, Hanover, and the greater Munich area
• Work takes place at green information stands in locations such as shopping centers, pedestrian zones, pet fairs, and festivals
• Possible assignments in other regions of Germany
• Accommodation is provided for deployments in other regions
• Remote work is not possible
