When I started the Animal Advocacy Course, I was stuck in a corporate job that felt draining and misaligned with my values. I’d always heard that working in animal protection was too competitive and unrealistic—but AAC changed that. It showed me there’s space for people like me in this movement and that I don’t need permission to pursue meaningful work. Since then, I’ve left my corporate job, completed two fellowships, and started a role that aligns with my ethics and passion for justice. Now, as I study for the LSAT and prepare for law school, I feel confident and supported in my path toward becoming a legal advocate for animals and the environment.
