Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. The Research Assistant will support our ongoing research projects, focusing on data collection, analysis, and literature reviews. This role is ideal for someone passionate about evidence-based solutions to global problems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on various topics related to effective altruism.
  • Collect and organize data from diverse sources.
  • Assist in the analysis of research data using statistical software.
  • Prepare summaries and reports of research findings.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of research activities and findings.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers on various project tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, public policy, social sciences, statistics).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in effective altruism and its principles.
