About the Role

This data entry role supports WELFARM’s Development & Donor Relations Department, helping manage donation processing, donor data, and administrative coordination for an animal welfare organization working to improve the lives of farm animals.

You will contribute to fundraising and donor relations operations by ensuring accurate donation entry, maintaining donor records, responding to donor requests, and supporting day-to-day administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, enter, and record donations in batches according to established procedures
  • Update and maintain the donor database
  • Regularly update tracking spreadsheets
  • Process and respond to donor requests
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as franking mail and supporting telephone and in-person reception
  • Manage the switchboard
  • Handle office supply purchasing

Candidate Profile

  • Bac +2 degree or equivalent, such as DUT GEA or Baccalaureate
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing a telephone switchboard
  • Passion for animal welfare
  • Comfort working with numbers
  • Strong writing skills
  • Organized and methodical approach
  • High level of rigor and precision
  • Interest in teamwork
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of data management
  • Knowledge of database querying

Compensation & Conditions

  • Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract
  • Working time: full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Flexible hours
  • Maternity leave cover from mid-May 2026 to mid-November 2026
  • Location: Metz
  • Salary: based on experience and qualifications
  • Meal vouchers: €7 per day
  • Comprehensive health insurance
