About the Role

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for expanding Animal Equality’s online audience through the implementation of effective and innovative digital marketing strategies that engage our donor base, prospects, and supporters.

General Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development: Develop and manage innovative marketing campaigns to publicize our work and collect signatures and leads, as well as digital fundraising campaigns to acquire, renew and retain donors.
  • Brand Consistency: Working within the existing brand voice, both in visual representation and editorial style, to support message consistency across all campaigns and the organization.
  • Email and Digital Resource Management: Develop and manage email campaigns, landing pages, tools and graphics for online fundraising activities, including donation forms.
  • Fundraising Initiatives: Implement Peer-to-Peer fundraising initiatives and Donation Day campaigns.
  • Multichannel Campaigns: Coordinate the delivery of strategic fundraising and multichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Paid Campaign Optimization: Create, manage and optimize paid campaigns to achieve fundraising goals, optimizing the lowest possible cost per result and maintaining a positive ROAS daily.
  • Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Measure, evaluate, analyze, test, and refine current marketing strategies to improve lead engagement and interaction, conversion within the funnel, and revenue.
  • Objectives and Metrics: Define, plan and achieve annual objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Editorial Calendar Management: Manage the editorial calendar for digital communications, as well as the creation, production, and delivery of email communications to the organization.
  • Analytical Reports: Providing accurate and informative analytical reports on digital revenue.
  • Marketing and Fundraising Tools: Manage the organization’s fundraising and marketing web tools and platforms.
  • Continuous Update: Staying up-to-date with best practices in the non-profit sector and the commercial sector in general.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Commitment to the Mission: Commitment to the vision, mission, strategy and culture of Animal Equality.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in direct response fundraising and marketing, preferably in a non-profit organization. Spoken and written English.
  • Digital Fundraising Strategies: Proven knowledge and ability to develop and implement digital fundraising strategies.
  • Digital Marketing Platforms: Proven experience with digital marketing platforms, including CRM (preferably Salesforce and Every Action), email marketing tools, CMS, connectors, and plugins.
  • Form Development and Audience Analysis: Experience in creating and maintaining donation forms, surveys, and other user engagement features, and in running audience reports and analytics.
  • Data Analysis: Strong experience in data analysis.
  • A/B Testing: Experience in the use of A/B testing in advocacy, fundraising and/or marketing campaigns.
  • Social Media Strategy: Experience in fundraising strategies on social media.
  • Basic Writing and HTML: Writing skills, especially for fundraising emails, and basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Handling Confidential Information: Ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive Attitude and Teamwork: Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication and ability to work cooperatively in an international team-oriented environment.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and manage workflow.
  • Commitment to the Animal Equality Goals.
