About the Role
A practical, hands-on operational role supporting OBRAZ’s protests, campaigns, and volunteer activities. You will ensure that all events have everything they need: the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time — including occasionally loading a giant chicken prop into a van and transporting it across Prague.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and material support for campaigns and volunteer activities
- Prepare, transport, install, and pack up equipment for events
- Maintain the storage facility and keep an organised, functional system
- Track all equipment and materials; ensure maintenance and minor repairs
- Manage event logistics so the right things are in the right place at the right time
- Independently organise smaller volunteer events
- Communicate with volunteers before and during events
- Coordinate small volunteer groups on the ground
Requirements
- Organised, reliable, and self-directed
- Practically and technically minded — you find solutions, not reasons why things won’t work
- Active driver — comfortable driving a personal car and a larger van around Prague
- Not afraid of physical work (transporting equipment, moving large props)
- Time-flexible — standard hours most of the time, but some events require different schedules
- Activist orientation; aligned with OBRAZ’s nonviolent advocacy approach
Benefits
- Starting salary: 39,000–55,000 CZK/month + 2,200 CZK meal allowance
- 5 weeks’ holiday, 3 sick days, subsidised Multisport card
- Beautiful central Prague office with great coffee
