About the Role

Do you love telling compelling stories and creating engaging content for social media? As a Junior Social Media Manager (all genders) at ProVeg Germany, you’ll be the creative force behind our channels. Your role: from captivating copy and compelling images to gripping reels — you’ll skillfully showcase trends and innovative formats and integrate them into our campaigns. With your keen sense of trends and a wealth of creative ideas, you’ll take our social media presence to the next level.

Job Details

  • Title: Junior Social Media Manager ProVeg Germany
  • Reports to: Senior Communications & Campaign Manager Germany
  • Department: DE Communications Team
  • Location: Berlin or remotely within Germany
  • Working hours: 30–40 hours per week

Your Tasks

  • You will manage and maintain our German social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Together with the German and international team, you will further develop our social media strategy.
  • You will be responsible for fundraising communication on our German social media channels (keyword: lead generation).
  • You coordinate closely with the specialist departments and prepare content in a targeted manner.
  • You will take on active community management with great sensitivity.
  • You research current trends and developments in the social media field.
  • You analyze and evaluate the performance of our channels and content.
  • You will be responsible for social media activities within the framework of corporate partnerships.
  • You are the contact person for the Veggie Challenge in Germany.

Your Profile

Must-haves:

  • Approximately 2 years of professional experience in the social media field.
  • Confident use of all common social media platforms.
  • Experienced in using tools such as Canva, HubSpot, and Meta/LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Experience in video creation/editing (especially CapCut).
  • Creativity and the ability to develop innovative ideas and concepts.
  • Enjoyment of monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators.
  • Good knowledge of relevant topics and trends related to plant-based nutrition.
  • Quick reaction time and a calm mind, even in stressful situations.
  • Excellent German skills at least at C1 level.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Trello).
  • Work experience in the NGO environment.
