About the Role

Are you interested in providing hands-on support to the Corporate and Institutional Engagement team in their work with the food industry and retail sector, aiming to make plant-based food options more attractive and widely available? Do you want to learn how we collaborate with companies, gain practical experience, and develop new skills? Are you eager to gain insights into how companies can be supported in implementing goals and measures for greater protein diversity?

If you also enjoy helping to organize projects, campaigns, and events that bring together different players in the food industry and influence the plant-based products of tomorrow, then you’ve come to the right place!

As part of a Federal Volunteer Service (BFD) at ProVeg eV, you will gain valuable learning experience in an international food organization, accompanied by diverse seminars offered by BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany). Interested? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Information About the Position

  • Department: DE Corporate and Institutional Engagement
  • Start date: Immediately, or please specify the possible time period
  • Location: Berlin
  • Working hours: 30–40 hours per week
  • Duration: Minimum 6 months to maximum 18 months
  • Compensation: Pocket money of €604 (6 months full-time); €800 (12 months full-time); €1044 (18 months full-time)

Tasks

  • Scanning and researching the food market: company and product research, data maintenance, best practices, studies, etc.
  • Support in the preparation and follow-up of trade fairs, conferences, and other events.
  • Creation of surveys, presentations, minutes, reports, and analyses for our consulting activities and lectures.
  • Support in both communication with our partners and customers, as well as in the creation of content for our media channels.
  • Support with administrative and organizational tasks.

Requirements

  • Proactive and independent work style as well as attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills to identify relevant data and relationships are advantageous.
  • Proficient use of MS Office or Google Suite for Docs, Sheets, and Presentations.
  • Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in the B2B sector is an advantage.
  • You identify with the goals and values of ProVeg.
