Vietnam Animal Welfare Watch

Full-time
Campaigns and corporate engagement
Mid-senior level

About the Role

The core of the work is corporate accountability: identifying companies in Vietnam that have made cage-free egg commitments, engaging them through sustained and strategic email-based outreach, meeting their representatives, and tracking what they actually deliver. Alongside that you will lead VAWW’s campaigning in Vietnam — setting campaign direction, running public petitions and photo actions, engaging Vietnamese media, and mobilising local supporters — and build relationships with Vietnamese animal welfare and civil society organisations.

You will own VAWW’s strategy and day-to-day execution, working closely with AAI’s leadership and with Country Leads in other countries to align tactics, share what works, and draw on regional support.

About the Organisation

We are here to watch if food companies live up to their animal welfare commitments. Too often, corporations make promises that never turn into action—leaving animals to suffer in silence. We track company pledges, monitor their progress, and publicly expose inaction. By demanding accountability and transparency, we push businesses to deliver meaningful change—on time and in full.
