About the Role
Main tasks:
- Physical and telephone reception for adopters and owners forced to part with their animal.
- Foster family management.
- Guiding prospective adopters in their choices based on their specific circumstances.
- Providing individualized advice to facilitate the adoption of animals into their new families.
- To introduce the animal to its adopter.
- Transporting animals to the veterinarian(s).
- Management of the administrative side.
- To ensure the cleaning, maintenance and hygiene of the animals’ living areas in order to guarantee their well-being and compliance with health regulations.

Desired profile
- Vocational training (CAP, Bac pro) or significant experience in the animal field or animal protection is appreciated.
- Prior experience in a shelter, pound, veterinary clinic or animal protection association would be an asset.
- Sense of organization, rigor and autonomy.
- Good knowledge of canine and feline behavior and the basic needs of animals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a welcoming attitude towards the public.
- Ability to work in a team and to coordinate with foster families, veterinarians and partners of the association.
- Driving licence B required.
- Sensitivity and commitment to animal welfare are essential.
- Holder of the ACACED dog and cat qualification is appreciated; otherwise, the association can assist the candidate in obtaining this mandatory certification for working in a shelter.
Remuneration and benefits
€1,823.03 gross monthly (35 hours/week), company health insurance covered at 50%, €8 meal vouchers per day worked – start date as soon as possible.
