About the Role
We are seeking a creative and mission-driven Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Creator (Volunteer Role) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about visual storytelling and strategic communication to help promote animal rights and ICARE’s mission and activities on a global scale.
You will collaborate closely with ICARE’s Executive Director and volunteers in communications, social media, marketing, and fundraising to shape and maintain ICARE’s visual identity across platforms.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Design engaging content using Canva Pro or Adobe for ICARE’s Instagram, LinkedIn, and Bluesky channels
- Suggest creative ideas to strengthen ICARE’s content strategy
- Ensure visual cohesion with ICARE’s brand guidelines, identity, and voice
- Manage scheduling and publication of content via Buffer
- Incorporate feedback constructively and meet agreed deadlines
- Comply with a content calendar according to workflow planning on Airtable
💡 Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For
- A strong sense of visual design, storytelling, and consistency
- Proficiency in Canva Pro; experience with Buffer, Airtable, and Slack is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in British English, ICARE’s official working language
- Self-motivated, proactive, reliable, and responsive
- Ability to implement feedback swiftly and work collaboratively
- Alignment with ICARE’s mission, values, and rights-based approach to animal advocacy
