About the Organisation

Allied Scholars for Animal Protection (ASAP) is a nonprofit founded in 2022 by Dr. Faraz Harsini that builds a unified infrastructure for animal advocacy at colleges and universities. The organization trains and mentors students to run campus chapters, conduct outreach, push for plant-based dining options, and pursue impactful careers in animal advocacy. Modeled in part after the Federalist Society’s campus strategy, ASAP operates at schools like Harvard, MIT, UC Berkeley, UPenn, and UT Austin, with the goal of cultivating future leaders who will carry animal rights values into influential positions across politics, business, medicine, and academia.
