About the Role
The COO will be a key leader responsible for strengthening internal operations at OBRAZ, ensuring that strategy translates into execution and that the organization scales effectively.
This role focuses on building processes, developing people systems, and enabling high-performing teams within a fast-growing advocacy nonprofit.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Process Building
- Design, implement, and simplify internal processes across teams
- Ensure effective execution of organizational strategy
- Improve operational efficiency and coordination
People & Culture
- Build and implement systems for onboarding, goal setting, evaluation, and development
- Support team leaders in building a culture of openness, trust, and accountability
- Strengthen leadership capacity across teams
Organizational Management
- Oversee core operational areas including finances and expense approvals
- Coordinate with external partners (accounting, legal, IT)
- Ensure organizational infrastructure supports growth and impact
Candidate Profile
- Experience managing an organization or larger team (nonprofit experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and process design skills
- Ability to simplify systems and improve clarity
- Leadership skills: ability to support, guide, and set boundaries
- Commitment to open communication, trust, and feedback culture
- Alignment with mission and values (animal welfare, impact-driven work)
Additional Details
- Salary: 53,000 – 75,000 CZK/month
- Benefits: Meal allowance (2,200 CZK), Multisport subsidy
